beep! beep!

my answers are a video-taped monologue intended for viewing only by the log lady:

harmonic vs. destruction
Sound waves collide and form energy spikes; amplitudes cancel and double in patterns that invigorate cells. Dissonance is a value judgment imposed on natural frequency interactions. The major scale and its modalities, a defined relationship between 7 relative frequencies, has worn its rut on the landscape of beauty… a vast and limitless plane capable of resonating the endless complexities of the truly infinite frequency palette. These western modalities are merely the primary colors of sound.

head vs. gut
homework and heartwork; both require the willingness to explore our relationship to matter and determine its true significance as it relates to our existence.

hometown vs. creativity
our imagination is our only hometown.

art vs. music
music is art. our imagination is art’s source; it generates art from the sensory input of matter. music is the presence and absence of kinetic energy over time, most aptly explored with sound but equally present in all other experiences of the senses. Music is a medium in which art exists. all mediums have been exploited and debased as an instrument of capitalism. this is destructive. the imagination elevates us beyond facts, and in the most divine circumstances, the imagination creates new facts. this is constructive.

"return to me"
the owls are not what they seem.

the perfect song
most are. they lead us closer to the understanding of what we already know but do not understand.
